  5. The Acorn Computer Group plc (Acorn) announces that it has
  6. entered into an agreement with Oracle Corporation (Oracle)
  7. for the development of reference designs for a range of
  8. Network Computing products.
  9.  
  10. These Network Computers will be based on open Internet
  11. standards, such as HTML and SUN's Java, and at a level that
  12. is independent from any specific machine architecture.  They
  13. will be intelligent devices which are connected to networks
  14. and are low cost as they do not need local mass storage and
  15. have minimal RAM requirements.
